Description: THE APPOINTMENT OF A CONTRACTOR FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ASBESTOS CEMENT (AC) WATER PIPES - PHASE 8,9,10 AND CONSTRUCTION AND REFURBISHMENT OF WATER AND SANITATION INFRASTRUCTURE ON AN AS AND WHEN REQUIRED BASIS IN LESEDI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS.

Special Conditions: Bidders must be registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) in a contractor grading designation determined in accordance with the sum tendered for a 6 CE class of construction work or higher. Bidders must note that certain works under this bid may only be constructed using labour intensive construction methods (LIC) and must limit the utilization of plant and machinery. Unskilled labourers must be recruited locally to enhance job creation. Only bidders who score 75 points or more for functionality will be further evaluated on both Price and Specific goals.
